Who you are contracting with

These terms are an agreement between you and Salus, the seller and operator of the Salus fitness and wellness app (trading as Plena Wellness). References to "we", "us" and "our" mean Salus. You can reach us at support@plenawellness.com.

Acceptance of these terms

By creating an account, purchasing a subscription, or continuing to use Salus, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service. If you are using Salus on behalf of an organisation, you confirm you have authority to bind that organisation.

At signup, you must actively accept the current version of these terms and acknowledge the Privacy Policy. Health-data consent is requested separately. Optional analytics and marketing choices are not required to use Salus.

Our intellectual property

Salus, including the app, its software, design, documentation, name, logo and branding, is owned by us and protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use Salus within the plan you have selected. You may not copy, resell, redistribute, reverse engineer, or circumvent the technical limits of the service.

Your account

You need an account to use Salus. Keep your credentials secure, give accurate information, and don't share your account. You must be at least 16 years old.

Subscriptions and trials

• The Free plan has no time limit and no card requirement.
• Paid plans (Plus and Premium) include a 7-day trial. Cancel during the trial and you pay nothing.
• Monthly plans renew monthly, annual plans annually, until cancelled.
• Purchases made inside the iOS or Android apps are billed by Apple or Google and are managed and cancelled in your App Store or Play Store subscription settings.
• You keep access until the end of the period you've already paid for.

Payment, billing, tax, invoicing, cancellation and refund mechanics for web purchases are governed by Paddle's Buyer Terms at https://www.paddle.com/legal/checkout-buyer-terms. Our refund window and request process are set out in our refund policy.

Payments and Merchant of Record

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns.

Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate your access for material breach of these terms, non-payment, security or fraud risk, or repeated or serious violations of our acceptable use rules. Where practical we will tell you first and give you a chance to fix the problem.

Acceptable use

Don't post content that is harassing, hateful, sexually explicit, dangerous medical advice, spam, or someone else's private information. Don't scrape the service, attack it, or attempt to reach another member's data. Group owners may remove members and posts within their group. We may remove content or suspend accounts that break these rules.

Your content

You own what you log and post. By posting to the community or a group you allow us to display that content to the members who can see it. Removing a post removes it from the app.

Group goals calculate rankings from eligible records during the displayed fixed period. Approved group members can see goal progress and rank. Weight goals show only percentage and weight changed, never starting or current weight.

Salus is a tracking and information tool, not a medical device or a healthcare provider. See the health disclaimer for the full statement.

Availability

We work to keep Salus available and accurate, but the service is provided as-is. Metrics derived from your phone or a third-party device are estimates and can be wrong.

Ending your account

You can delete your account at any time from Settings. We may close accounts that significantly or repeatedly break these terms.

Changes

If we make a material change to these terms we'll tell you in the app before it takes effect.
